Dapper Notes Cat Fishin' Pocket Notebook

This summer, I teamed up with Dapper Notes and our friend David Gallo to create Cat Fishin', a special three way collaboration for our yearly pocket notebook tradition! 

The idea for the cover art came from David's sketchbook, where he created a series of cat-themed fishing bobbers and lures that appear throughout the notebook and packaging. His drawings inspired me to leave the dogs behind this year and instead illustrate my two cats, Olive and Eleven, fishing on a river bank with a tackle box full of David's creations.

The covers were screen printed here at Dog Gone Studios and then sent over to Dapper Notes, where they do all the beautiful, meticulous work of cutting, gluing, and sewing each of these hand assembled notebooks. 

Each notebook comes packaged in a beautifully designed die-cut sleeve and includes a bookmark and stat card featuring artwork from both David and me.
