The Brooklyn Banks was one of the first spots I ever skated in NYC and was always the destination when we’d take the Metro North down in high school. It's located under the Brooklyn Bridge on the Manhattan side. Unfortunately, it has remained closed for the past 10+ years for bridge construction. The NYC skate community is hard at work trying to get the DOT to help restore the banks back to the amazing historic skate spot it used to be.
