Brooklyn Banks Print

This risograph print features the Brooklyn Banks, one of the first spots I ever skated in NYC. When my friends and I took the Metro North into the city in high school, the Banks was always our destination. I was a little too young to catch the Small Banks, so I spent most of my time at the Big Banks pictured here.

I made this print during the Banks’ 15 year closure, when it looked like they might never be skateable again. I'm happy to report that thanks to years of work by the NYC skate community, the Big Banks were restored and officially reopened to the public on June 5, 2025.
