The Jack Russell terrier was named after Reverend John “Jack” Russell, an avid fox hunter who bred hunting dogs in England during the mid-1800s. Jack Russells originally had a brown fur coat but was strategically bred to a nearly all-white coloring to differentiate the dog from the fox game it was hunting.
8.5” x 11” open edition screen-print, black ink on speckle tone off white paper, hand printed and signed by the artist.
