An Australian Cattle Dog named Bluey lived to be the oldest dog in the world, born in 1910 and lived to the age of 29! In the early 1800s, Australia’s first cattle dogs were a British imported breed known as the Smithfield, but they were unsuited for the new heat and terrain. Smithfields were crossed with the native Dingoes and Scottish Highland Collie to get the Australian Cattle Dog aka Blue Heeler aka Queensland Heeler we know and love today.

8.5” x 11” open edition screen-print, black ink on speckle tone off white paper, hand printed and signed by the artist.
