Greyhounds are the oldest purebred dog dating all the way back 5,000 years ago to ancient Egypt where they were revered as gods, and only royalty were allowed to own them. They are described as “sighthounds” because they hunt by sight rather than smell. The ability to see at high speeds comes in handy when you’re Fanta, the fastest dog in the world who clocked in at 50.5 MPH in a 2013 race.
